Before you travel

Local taxes and accommodation check-in

  • Accommodation guest registration. Complete the guest registration with your accommodation. This is not the separate residence-registration procedure for moving to Austria.
  • Local visitor tax. There is no single Austrian resort-tax amount. Confirm the local rate, child exemptions and whether the booking total includes it.

Check the municipality of your accommodation, not just the ski-area name. The rules depend on the stay and the traveller’s status, not the language of this page.
